LASER FAQ'S
What can I do with an AP-Lazer?
Although originally designed to laser engrave large, heavy pieces of granite in the monument industry, the AP-Lazer can do much much more! Lasers are used in a wide variety of applications such as memorial engraving, glass engraving, signage cutting and engraving, bar code marking, UID marking, textile engraving and embossing, trophy and award engraving, rubber cutting, wood cutting, brick engraving, jewellery engraving, personalizing gifts and other commemorative pieces, and much more! Images and artwork can be laser engraved onto a variety of materials including, but not limited to: granite, marble, glass, wood, crystal, brick and stone, rubber, ceramic, steel, aluminium, copper, leather, acrylic and various plastics,
What makes AP-Lazer different than other laser machines?
Unlike its competitors, the AP-Lazer system is essentially a two part machine. No other machine on the market has a removable laser top which allows you to use the laser machine in a variety of set-ups. Keep the laser top on its home base and it functions like a traditional 'boxed-up' laser machine. Remove the top from the home base and place it on the Utility Carriage allowing you to roll objects directly beneath the laser area, or place over a conveyer belt. The equipped EZ-Leveling system allows you to place the removable top directly onto any flat surface such as marble or granite flooring and engrave.
Is the AP-Lazer Machine easy to use?
As with all machinery and new technologies, there is always a learning curve. That's why we offer (and highly recommend) our FREE 2-day training seminar*. Once you have your laser machine set up and you are familiar with how it operates, using the AP-Lazer machine is as easy as sending a file to a printer. All purchasers also receive tech support via phone and email.

Can I make money with a laser machine?

By adding a laser engraving machine to your existing business, you can not only offer your current customers a new service, but you can also reach new customers who are in need of personalized products. If you have any doubts about the money you can make, visit www.laserbits.com, to find extensive information about everything laser!
What is the expected return on investment?
That all depends on your engagement with your investment. For example, our SN4024 AP-Lazer machine is priced at $24,995. An average laser etching job is going to cost you only $100. Assume you can sell that etching to your customer for $400. You can easily make $300 in profit for each laser job you complete. With a profit rate of $300 per job, your laser machine will pay for itself upon completing 84 jobs. Why farm your laser etchings out to another company when you can benefit from having your own?
Which laser machine is right for me?
The answer to that depends on how you plan to use it. What is the largest object you may be lasering? What space do you have available for a machine? Are you looking to cut stencil with your machine as well as laser etch? Using our helpful comparison charts, you can figure out which model is right for you. If you are still unsure, don't hesitate to call and speak to a sales representative.
